My beautiful soul-sister, Paige Swalue, is a mother, wife, daughter, sister, hairdressing salon owner, and dear friend to so many around the Eyre Peninsula and Australia.
She's a strong, brilliant, kind, thoughtful, loyal, and genuinely lovely 29-year old who recently gave birth to little angel Daisy and started her exciting journey into motherhood. A blessing she's worked extra hard for.
A few weeks ago, after finding an irregular lump in her breast Paige decided to get some tests done. This week Paige's Breast Cancer diagnoses have been confirmed by specialists in Adelaide and to our devastation, she is indeed tackling Grade 3 cancer (type not confirmed yet). Additionally, Cancer has spread to her lymph nodes but thankfully nowhere else.
A long-term treatment plan is in place as of today which includes weekly back & forth trips from her home in Port Lincoln to Adelaide for doctors' appointments, chemotherapy, and surgery.
As a result, Paige has no choice but to close her thriving hairdressing business to fully focus on fighting for her life. We hope this is a smooth and straight forward process of beating cancer and healing...if anyone can beat Cancer it's our Paigey girl!!
