Guatemala Missions Trip

Hello Friends and Family!
Happy New Year! We hope 2020 is off to a great start and that you are doing well. 2020 is going to be an exciting year for the Mangum’s. We are planning on going to Guatemala together with our church (Calvary Wolfeboro) for a week at the end of February. The purpose of the trip is two fold. First, to be as much of a blessing to the Guatemalan people as we can while we’re there. Second, to grow deeper in our relationships with Jesus and each other as a team while also being blessed by the relationships we are building with the people in and around Antigua. This is Calvary Wolfeboro’s third time going to Guatemala with a team. Ben has always dreamed of using his gift of photography to document the trip and be able to visually communicate what the trip is all about.
While there, we will be spending time visiting a school, an orphanage, and a village called Tabacal in the jungle about 2 hours outside of Antigua. In all of these places our hope is to bring the love and encouragement of Christ through music, VBS, and just our physical and spiritual presence. We will also be working with a local church and missionary to help a family or two who have been affected by the devastating earthquakes of early last year. There is a Calvary Chapel (a sister church of ours) in Antigua and we will be worshiping with them the Sunday that we are there. One day will be spent on Lake Atitlan to the north of Antigua which is a beautiful place to visit.
We will need a total of $3,890.00. We know that God will provide one way or another as He always does! Whether you give or not, please pray for us and the rest of the team. We greatly appreciate your consideration in giving!
Love,
Ben & Amber
