Aubrey Detained in Thailand
Donation protected
Please stop donations. Your goodness and generosity leave us in awe. With your donations and some funds sent directly to us we have met our goal. And to those who shared this post, thank you for spreading the word.
We have been so blessed by our family and friends. Including new friends who we have not met but who have donated and helped with this cause. So please, still include Aubrey in your prayers that her court date can happen soon, and the Judge will be inclined to let her leave Thailand . To let her come home. Thank you. We have been in tears many times as we see the generosity of you all. God Bless You.
Love to you all.

Please help bring Aubrey home. Aubrey King left for Thailand Jan. 9, 2019, paying her own way to teach English to children. She didn't return as planned May 2, 2019. Her last Saturday there she rented a scooter and was involved in an accident with another scooter. Aubrey was not seriously hurt. The Thai lady was seriously injured and passed away 4 weeks later. At the time of the accident Thai police took away Aubrey’s passport so she could not leave the country. When the Thai lady died this became a criminal matter for the courts.
Had this accident happened in the USA Aubrey would not be liable. The Thai lady came from behind and sideswiped Aubrey. According to Thai law Aubrey was considered negligent. In Thai legal customs it is important to settle with the family before going to court. Aubrey’s family has settled with them, but could use help paying the lawyers and other court fees to bring Aubrey home. Aubrey’s English-speaking attorneys travel for over 5 hours to get to her. We pay travel and time. All funds raised will go directly to help pay attorney’s fees.
