Dear Reader,

Hi my name is Monte. The pic you see is from the MRI of my sister Tina's head. The white circle in the center of the pic is what the Dr's think is a blood clot, but won't know for sure until they do surgery. For the last month she has been loosing sight in her one eye because it has been putting pressure on her optic nerve. It took multiple tests, and appointments with different specialists to figure out what was causing her to loose sight. The Dr's initially said it was a lesion on her brain, but didn't know exactly what was causing it. It could have been caused from a disease, trauma, or a tumor. Fortunately they don't think it is any of those things, but won't know for sure until they do surgery.  She goes in this Wednesday on November 30th to have surgery were the Dr's will have to open up her skull to remedy the issue. They aren't sure if her full sight will return. My sister Tina is a single mom of two, who works two jobs already just to try to make ends meet. Thankfully she has insurance through her work that will cover 80%, but she will have to pay the other 20%.  I don't know exactly how long she will be out of work to recover, but the money raised will go towards her medical bills and loss of income due to not being able to work. Honestly I dont know if the goal amount will be enough if it is reached, but anything will help.

  Our whole family will be extremely thankful if you decide to make a contribution to help my sister during this tramatic time. The emotional burden alone is over whelming, and it would be amazing to be able to help her with the financial burden that is gauranteed to follow.
