I think I am going to try this one more time.
Hello everyone, my name is Brittany. I am 27 years old and I have Stage 4 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma with metastatic disease. This means that there is no cure to my cancer. This is only about prolonging my life for as long as my doctors can. I have been battling it for two years already.
I have 2 handsome little boys and a loving husband that I just can’t stand the thought of them having to endure a life without me.
I have been ripped of my youth and have had to undergo extensive chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, surgery, and everything in between. I’ve lost my hair, I’ve lost my dreams, I’ve lost my future. I’ve lost the ability to have anymore children.
But I have not lost hope. I will continue to fight with everything in me to be around to see my babies graduate, become amazing people in this world, and have children of their own one day.
I am not ready to be taken from my family and if that means fighting til my last breath, I will do it one hundred times over.
Please share. Anything goes a long way in my journey.
