My mother is Yudith Alcaraz and owns Yudith Hair Salon in downtown Carpinteria, CA. She chose a career that would allow her to help other people and styling their hair brings her much joy and happiness. She has five stylists who lease space at her two stations in her small salon. Everyone has a common goal, to provide affordable services in a clean and friendly environment.
Right now we are all living through a difficult time during Covid-19. As you probably know, salons in California were allowed to open but as cases rose, they were forced to shut down again. This, of course, has adversely affected her business. She has spent several months trying to apply for government assistant. After many phone calls and emails with no answer, she has reluctantly come to the conclusion that she needs some monetary help to keep her business going until covid-19 subside and she can fully reopen again.
My mother and I are so appreciative and blown away by theoutpouring of love and support from her clients and their family members. She has worked very hard for many years to build her business in the beautiful community of Carpinteria and she will be heartbroken if she is forced to close her doors.
