Help Support Kara and her Family

Kara is one of the hardest working people and this past year she has risen to all challenges coming into her life.  In her work as a nurse the pandemic created new learnings and job schedule changes. Her question was always ‘ how else can I help?” She picked up extra shifts and learned new skills and during this time she kept a positive attitude and her deep faith in better days coming.

‘Better days have not come yet as Kara faced medical issues including multiple surgeries over the past few months.  Being off work and facing financial issues is never easy but somehow Kara keeps a smile on her face and prays healing comes. Kara is already a fantastic Mother for her daughter Emma and in the midst of her post op physical therapy ; she shared that she was going to move her 14 yr old niece and 12 yr old nephew into her home. Sadly the children were in an at risk environment and rather than have them be placed in foster care in Florida, she is taking on raising them in a loving safe home.  Needless to say this brings on additional challenges for Kara. To add in increased expenses to an already strained budget is never easy.  

Kara has embraced this new journey with grace and prayer. We would love to help her out with basic needs for the home including  food, clothes and expense as she takes on the new responsibilities and works through the medical and emotional needs for the children.
