Help Yuki, a lovely greyhound, pay her vet bills

Donation protected
Thank you for taking a moment out of your day to learn about, and to help, my wonderful dog Yuki.

If you've never met her, Yuki is a joyful, curious, and confident greyhound who retired from the race track almost six years ago.

Yuki had only spent a year training before sustaining an injury to her hock; a hock is the ankle bone of a dog. In the world of greyhound racing Yuki could no longer race, but luckily there are organizations that save non-racing greyhounds.

Yuki was rescued and adopted through W.A.G., We Adopt Greyhounds, and retired life has been great to her. As you'll see, Yuki spends much of her time enjoying the outdoors. But unfortunately her hock injury never correctly healed, and it ultimately led to a tragic incident.

Running through the fields you see above, Yuki's hock sustained an open fracture that tore ligaments. At the emergency veterinary center it became clear that Yuki's leg would need to be amputated.

Greyhounds do particularly well with three legs, and I know Yuki will rebound back to her joyful, curious, and confident self soon enough. If you want to help support Yuki and me in her recovery, please donate; any amount helps.

Thank You so much for taking time out of your day to learn about and help my wonderful dog, Yuki.
