Legal fees to protect my daughter.

Hi, my name is Sonia and I’m trying to raise money for legal fees regarding my daughters safety. There’s currently a restraining order in place against her father due to domestic violence and it is going to expire this upcoming March. I have extended it once before but I recently found out that he was arrested for Battery/Assault, Dui, Leaving the Scene of a Crash, 2 Child Neglect charges, etc…

He is a third time felon and every year he adds another criminal charge to his record for the past 10 years. After finding out that he just put the lives of his 6 week old baby, girlfriend and her 3 year old in jeopardy, I am determined to do anything necessary to keep him away from me and my children. Therefore, my husband who took my 6 year old daughter in and began raising her as his own wants to adopt her in the event that if anything were to ever happen to me, she would remain with him. Someone who is loving and caring; someone who doesn’t have a criminal record whatsoever; someone who can actually protect and provide…someone who knows what it truly takes to be not just a father, but a dad.

In order to make any of this happen, it is going to cost us a few thousand dollars. I know times are hard for everyone but we will all be very grateful and appreciative of anything we receive. Please, if you can, help me keep my daughter safe.
