Support For Ace Culpepper
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Jen Harrington. Ace (Aj’s) Grandmother. Aj was initially diagnosed with B cell acute lymphoblastic Philadelphia chromosome positive leukemia on December 5, 2019. After several treatments of chemotherapy and rounds of radiation, it was decided that Aces best option would be a bone marrow and stem cell transplant from a donor in the UK. That was June 2020 where Ace did relatively well and went into remission for two years.
September 5, 2022, Ace's cancer unfortunately returned and he was urgently readmitted to Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC where he is currently undergoing chemotherapy and Car T Cell Therapy. It’s still too early to tell if he will need another bone marrow transplant or not. What we do know is that this is going to be another long hospital stay for Aj, as he will be undergoing weekly bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures to make sure there are no more leukemia cells.
Once again Ace and his family are facing medical bills that accumulate, pharmacy/meds co-pays etc. Jeanae will have to miss work, mileage and parking all adds up. Any amount you can donate will make this easier on the family.
We will forever be grateful for all of your love, prayers and support. Your thoughts and kind words mean more than you’ll ever know. Ace has expressed the same feelings to all of his family and friends for the rally around him during his time of need. This is something that “Happens to other people and their family” Yet, when you’re hit with the devastating news, its surreal!
Ace is a strong kid and will continue to #KICK CANCER IN THE ACE!!!
