Mauricio Fuentes Memorial Fund

Mauricio Fuentes, husband and father of two, was murdered yesterday. Mauricio was a stalwart custodian of our neighborhood, and worked tirelessly for its improvement.

We will all feel Mauricio's death, but none more than his loving wife and two beautiful children. This family has been forever changed and now faces the daunting reality of a future deprived of their patriarch and sole provider.

There is nothing we as a community can do to lessen their grief, however we can band together to mitigate the terrible financial strain that this horrible event has caused. Our friend's family will soon face funeral costs, living expenses, and the eventual demands for college and retirement. All of this without Mauricio.

We can help this family. Even a small gift will be inestimably appreciated and will go directly and completely to this family in their time of tremendous need. We can't bring Mauricio back, but we can rally as a community around those he loved. We can show that we are a neighborhood where our fallen members are remembered, and their loved ones cared for.
