greetings world! :) i write this with a bit of anxiety and complete vulnerability, but I am in need of help so here goes nothing. my name is yves, I'm an 18 yr old queer, non-binary student, artist, and small business owner who is currently unemployed and battling severe illness, mainly depression/adhd, endometriosis, and worsening dental issues. the main goal of this fundraiser is to aid in funding the following:
- surgery to remove a cyst on my uterus
-a cheap car to help me get around (work, class, doctors, etc)
-personal items and copays
-taking care of my EMS pet
after dealing with an abusive situation in my household in the summer of 2020, having to flee to different locations on multiple occasions and pay for medication and treatment for my mother left me in an unstable financial situation. I have absolutely NO plans of remaining unemployed, but due to the uncertainty of the pandemic and my lack of transportation, things have been quite difficult. however, even with a job, it is hard for me to get back and forth as my father works 5-6 days a week and we only have one car to get around! i don't receive much financial support from my parents, mainly because my mother is disabled and cannot work, and my father doesn't make enough money to support me, my siblings, and my mother as well, so I kinda am on my own with most things.
I also discovered a cyst on my uterus in Oct 2019, which I've been unable to treat due to lack of funds and now Covid closing/limiting most office availability. however, after meeting with my OBGYN a couple of months ago, i was informed that I'll need surgery to remove the cyst as it has grown and caused me immense pain. i must begin payment for my surgery by AUGUST 26TH, so i need to reach my goal by then.
i have a pet as well, and he's an emotional support animal who I love and care for deeply. however, in recent months its been hard for me to afford stuff for him as well as myself, so I have had to postpone caring for myself to scrape up money for his vet appointments and food. he is someone I desperately need in my life, so it is vital that I am able to care for him.
this fund will help me get on my feet to prepare me for work, classes, and to help take care of a continuously worsening health issue. please help me reach my goal by August 26th so that I won't have to crowdfund anymore and put myself in such a scary and vulnerable situation.
