Hi! my name is Victoria and I am the daughter of Yvette. In the beginning of March my mom was diagnosed with Stage 1 aggressive Breast Cancer, it was words we hoped and prayed we would not hear. She was scheduled for surgery the beginning of April to remove the tumor in her right breast (lymph nodes where also removed/tested as well, which were negative. Thank God) but with an additional hospital stay due to an infection and what seemed like a very long healing process my mom was able to get in to see the Oncologist which with some future testing it was determined that she will need Chemo, radiation and a Hormone blocker based off of her age and the fact that she was postmenopausal would help lower her risk of her getting cancer again in the future.
Unfortunately with all the medical expenses that are coming in from both of the surgeries she had to go under for, a hospital stay, countless doctors appointments, going back and forth to Pensacola for her Treatments and numerous testing she has had and will have to have done she had to take a step back in her business to focus on her health and to get through this which has been extremely hard for her since she is one of the main breadwinners for our family along side my Stepdad. It has taken a toll on her ability to work due to her being sick with doing her Chemo treatments and the side effects that come with it. This has definitely been a challenging time watching my mom go through such a hard, emotional, exhausting, expensive experience.
My mom is not the person to necessarily be the one to ask for help so that is why I took it upon myself to do this for her. She has always been the back bone to our family and I want to be able to do something for her in return is where she does not have to stress so much over money while dealing with her battle to beat Breast Cancer.. So I am asking my Friends, Family & Community to help donate to help with covering medical expenses, any bills that her household may have or anything she may need.
