Cesar Hernandez

Hello, my name is Hannah Wood, I am one of the step-daughters of Cesar Hernandez. As some of you may know, Cesar unfortunately passed on from this earth the evening of July 23rd, 2023. Cesar Hernandez was a bright and shining star. He could light up any room he walked into with just his smile alone. He never failed to make you laugh or smile, even on your worst days. He made friends wherever he went and was so loyal and amazing to the ones he already had. He was a dedicated family man until the very end. He so dearly loved both of his two children, Liz(28) and Alice(21) Hernandez, and he loved his step-children like his very own. He made my mother, Kristine Hernandez, the happiest she has ever been and they were soulmates, there is no doubt about that. They had a beautiful marriage of 7 years, celebrating their anniversary back in March. Cesar Hernandez accomplished so much in this life and lived his 51 years to the fullest. We all know he's looking back with no regrets or doubts that he made the impact that he wanted to. And he really did make a huge impact on so many lives. All he ever wanted to do was help in any way he could and be the support that you needed. He was always the best cheerleader and support any of us could ever ask for. Even from beyond he's still helping people, he opted to be an organ donor and the doctor told us that he's going to be helping 70-75 people with those donations. I know he would be overjoyed to learn that. I know personally, I will miss his terrible accents/impressions, his off-tune singing of Ed Sheeran or various musicals, but especially just the love and fun he brought into our family. He will forever be not my stepdad but the dad that stepped up and I am forever grateful for everything. I'll try to keep this short because I know he's watching me type this, tears down my cheeks, calling me a crybaby and laughing, lol. He was always the type who didn't want anyone to be sad about him but to celebrate him and his life instead. Now for the reason of this fundraiser. So as it goes, with tragedy also normally comes the bills and expenses that are far too much to even think about when you're grieving and missing someone you love dearly so I wanted to set this up to help my mom and Cesar's family the best I could. Any funds received will go towards the hospital bills, memorial ceremony bills, and to hopefully get a memorial set up at his favorite disc golf park, East Roswell Park. Any funds of any amount would be so greatly appreciated, even if it's just a dollar. Cesar will never, ever be forgotten and we will keep his memory alive forever.
