Yvonne " Bonnie" Fight Against Stage IV Cancer

Dear family and Friends,

Our Beautiful and kindhearted Sister Yvonne "Bonnie" needs your support in her journey to battle Stage IV cancer that had now aggressively spread to her lungs. We are determined to raise money to aid her fight and provide crucial support for her during this time.

On January 14, 2024, Bonnie went to the hospital with critical pain which originally was misdiagnosed as a UTI at the beginning of the month. After hours at the emergency room, CT scan and biopsy, our sister's world came to a complete stop and the devastating results were in, Stage III vaginal cancer. During the reading of Bonnie's results her physician told her the cancer is aggressively growing and is spreading, from the CT scan the only bottom half of her lungs showed and unfortunately, the cancer was on already on her lungs. The second biopsy was scheduled for her upper portion of the lungs. January 31, 2024, Bonnie received her final diagnosis, and her cancer was now Stage IV vaginal and lung cancer she was given 20%-30% survival rate but with the grace of God, she will defeat this cancer and will be able to tell her story as a cancer survivor.

What's next?

Bonnie will start her battle with multiple treatments of radiation and chemotherapy, however, in order for her to get the best medical care, because the cancer is so aggressive, she will travel to Houston, TX to MD Anderson Cancer Center. She will be leaving on her journey and start receiving medical care on Monday February 5, 2024.
