Yvonne Delgado’s End Of Life Cancer Fund

Donation protected
Diagnosed with a rare malignant brain cancer 4 years ago (WHO grade III, Angioblastic Meningioma), Yvonne has gone through three surgeries over the past four years and has fought extremely hard to overcome this deadly illness. Unfortunately the cancer has become more aggressive each time and the medical community has no other options for her. We were hopeful after the first surgery since it didn’t come back right away, but this horrible illness has finally gotten the best of Yvonne. She entered home hospice care on August 26, 2023 and her condition is rapidly deteriorating every day.
Yvonne has always been fiercely independent and extremely discreet regarding her fight with cancer. She continued working until December 2022, (years past what her doctors recommended) and living her best life until she finally had to admit that she needed to go on disability, which unfortunately has not been approved. Medical along with end of life costs are mounting, and we are asking for any donations, big or small, to help offset expenses. Yvonne leaves behind Niall, her beloved 11 year old son, for which she has lived for and fought so tenaciously these last few months, and Andrew, her partner of 28 years. Yvonne would never ask for help, but we ask that you open your hearts and help in any way you can.

Now that she has passed, we ask to continue to pray for her and send positive energy towards her and her family.

Thank you for everyone's generosity and support during this most difficult time. We are indebted to you all. Your prayers and support continue to be very much appreciated. Service date is set for Tuesday, time and location to follow.
Sincerely,
The Delgado and Slavin families.
