Yvonne's Journey
Donation protected
This past January, our friend, Yvonne, experienced a brain aneurysm while at work. Yvonne was rushed to the hospital, where after days of testing, discovered she had an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM). AVMs affect less than 1% of the population and are defects in the vascular system, which disrupts the transporting of oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the brain. She is scheduled for surgery on April 9th to remove the defect.
Yvonne is a single mother to a loving daughter and two grandchildren. She is warm, loving, loyal and hard working. She has a sassy demeanor and wits - with her around, laughter is always in the air. This upcoming surgery is going to be challenging in many ways - financially just being one. Your contributions will be used to cover some of the surgery costs as well as support during the 6-weeks of rehabilitation. We appreciate your support, whether it be well wishes, prayers or monetary contribution.
