Yvonne's Back Surgery Fund

Back in June, Yvonne Ocampo had surgery for a herniated disc in her lower back. Her pain and quality of life at that point had reached an all-time low; she was barely able to do normal life activities and was mostly confined to laying on the couch in whatever position she could be most comfortable... Even changing positions and getting up to use the bathroom was excruciating. After months of near-constant pain, the doctors finally recommended that we take a more aggressive approach to fix the herniated disc in her back.

But now the bill is coming due, and while unemployment has helped keep us afloat since I was furloughed back in March, this presents a real threat to our livelihood.
