YVON’S PATH TO RECOVERY

2023 has sucked so far to say the least. My amazing son, Yvon, was in a near fatal car accident on 1/1/23 on his drive back to University of Michigan where he has been working on his Masters in Social Work. Extremely foggy conditions would ultimately almost end his life but an amazing medical team of over a dozen Doctors from Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI saved his life. According to one of the first surgeons that saved Yvon, he had only 5% chance of survival. As an active volunteer member of the Peace Corps, Yvon is scheduled to leave for his next trip in September to Belize. He is using that as his drive and motivation to get through each grueling physical therapy session. Unfortunately, Yvon already has thousands of dollars in medical bills and expenses and anticipates thousands more with treatment far from over. I am reaching out to Yvon’s family and friends to please donate to help him have less to worry about with a financial burden and allow him to concentrate on getting himself well to achieve his goals.
