Cancer is Ruff

Welcome and thanks for stopping by! My name is Luke the Australian Shepherd and I want to tell you about my mom Judy. Back in February 2023, my mom had to take a sudden trip to the emergency room it turns out that it was a matter of life and death. After her visit, she received a diagnosis of breast cancer. She started chemotherapy to see if it would help but ultimately, she and the doctors decided that surgery was the best option. Well, in October 2023, mom had a major surgery. Not only did she have a double mastectomy, but she also had her lymph node, ovaries and tubes removed. It was a lot to take in! But it gets worse...after her surgery, she learned that the cancer had reached her ovaries. Now she will have to go through another bone scan and even more chemotherapy. Because of all the time in the hospital, mom has not been able to work, and the bills keep piling up. I love my mom, and my mom loves me!
