Supporting Friends in Need

Covid-19 has changed our world as we know it, but no more so than for Rey and Kristie Cervantes and their young sons, Tristin and Riker, and their Italian AFS son Francesco Nervi. Rey is currently in the ICU fighting this virus at the most serious level. They need our help. Both Rey and Kristie are fellow educators, as they are special ed teachers in Plainfield and Sandwich, respectively.  Kristie also coaches Crossfit and Yoga at Yorkville Crossfit, and you don't want to go up against Rey in paintball!  They have been involved in their hometown of Plano, hosting foreign exchange students, coaching soccer, tutoring, and just being good friends and good neighbors. It's going to be a long road back for Rey, which means bills to pay, including health insurance, as Rey's sick days run out. This is all overwhelming, so the best way to support the family is through this campaign and your prayers. The family knows of your good wishes but simply are not able to respond to loving inquiries right now. Please share this post with everyone you know. Thank you so much for your prayers and support!
