Brian Petrie's Recovery Fund

As many of you know, my brother was recently injured in a hit-and-run accident on Halloween in Provincetown. He was med-flighted to Boston Medical Center. The compound fracture on both bones on his right lower leg required surgery. He also had massive head trauma that required too many stitches to count. There are many other injuries that will not become obvious until the more serious ones have healed.

Brian was relocated today to an acute rehabilitation facility in Salem, MA. His lower-leg injury will prevent him from walking and driving for many months.

As some of you may know, Brian is an area sales-manager for a large beer distributor. His job requires him driving all over New England. It will be months before he can return to work.

Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle actually called the authorities once she had arrived home, which probably saved Brian's life. Unfortunately she is significantly under-insured. 

Brian needs our help! This fund will help Brian pay for all the significant medical costs they have already incurred, and will continue to accumulate over Brian's long treatment period.

Brian is a  very hard-working parent and grand-parent and this fund will help minimize the finiancial strain that this terrible accident has thrust upon his family.
