YWAM Discipleship Training School - Costa Rica

Hello! Since graduation, the Lord has called me to Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Discipleship Training School (DTS) beginning this fall! This is a five month trip in which my goal is to keep growing my foundation in Jesus while sharing the good news of the gospel with the unreached.

DTS is from September 28th to March 1st beginning in Nicoya, Costa Rica! For 12 weeks I will be learning from guest speakers around the world how to be a missionary in the “lecture phase.” Some topics that are covered include, Hearing God’s voice, Intercultural communication, and Biblical Christian Worldview. Through each of these, I will be learning what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. DTS will be followed by an 8 week intercultural outreach in another nation, where our new knowledge will be applied to “make Him known” by sharing the love and hope of Christ. This may look like teaching English, serving in refugee camps, and anti-human/sex trafficking efforts, the opportunities are endless.

I am writing to you to ask for your support in this exciting, new season of my life. Whether this be financially, or through prayer is up to you. By contributing, you are a part of my mission, reaching those who don’t know Jesus, and showing them His love. My estimated expenses will be:

Airfare: $1,200

Lecture phase: $2,300

Outreach: $3,000

Incidental expenses: $500
