YWAM Medical Mission Trip 2025

Hi, I’m Anna :)

I am taking a gap year to do a medical mission with YWAM in New Zealand and Vanuatu in 2025. Through prayer, conversations with missionaries and research I made the decision to join the YWAM Discipleship Training School in Tauranga, NZ.

YWAM provides opportunities to students to share the word of God and His love by serving others. I’m hoping to do this by providing healthcare and Spiritual companionship in the streets and towns of New Zealand and Vanuatu. The trip starts with 3 months of medical and theological training in Tauranga. Then we’ll do 2 months of outreach as Health Care Assistants in a Family Care Centre in Vanuatu. We’ll also set up mobile clinics in some of the isolated islands and areas of Vanuatu.

I have been saving and will be working to raise most of the funds for the trip. I am doing some fundraising events including a bring and share lunch at my church in July, and a 75 mile cycle in September.

Once the mission is finished, I will be studying Medicine in September, 2025.
