YWAM - Jan

Hello! My name is Josie Dean and I am seeking support for my 6 months of missions with an organization Known as Youth With A Mission (YWAM). I will spend three months in Perth, Australia training to go out into all nations to share the name of Jesus. We will spend time learning about who God is and how we can effectively share the Gospel around the world. There will be classes, worship services, and fun Australian activities during this first three months. The Discipleship Training School I chose in Australia focuses primarily on young people and their importance to the Kingdom of God. It is program offered to people from every nation so their will be beautiful diversity and room for growth culturally. Our team is 20 people so for our second three months we will be splitting up into two teams, one going to Africa and the other to Asia. the team i have felt the Lord calling me to be apart of is Africa! this is super exciting as i could potentially see myself here long term. we will be in Zimbabwe and Zambia for most of the trip. we will spend time in both remote areas and big cities! i’m ready to see how God is going to revel himself.The biggest support I could use is prayer. Prayer for open hearts, for both the people we come in contact with and for my team as we face conviction during this time of immense spiritual growth. Financially speaking, the trip is very expensive as I need money for tuition, airfare, student visa, health insurance, and outreach phase fees. I know that the Lord is our ultimate provider and that I can fully trust him through this time of fundraising.
