YWCA of Genesee County Community Food and Safety Fund

For 112 years the YWCA of Genesee County has supported women, children and families in our community. 112 years! This incredible agency has been a community cornerstone helping thousands of people through education, financial assistance, advocacy and often times, life changing support. We are strong because of the incredible women that have blazed a trail before us and the ones that continue blazing that trail today.
In 2024, the YWCA added a few new programs to our list of services. We now offer free therapeutic crisis counseling services for anyone in the community that has experienced domestic violence trauma and a food pantry to address the growing food insecurities in our community. These programs, along with our community clothing boutique (My Sister's Closet), safe shelter, prevention and case management services, are all programs funded through community and grant support.
The YWCA is strong, but we can’t do what we do without each of you and without our partnerships in the community. Please consider supporting the YWCA food and safety fund to feed our friends and neighbors in Genesee County and provide services such as counseling, prevention and case management to assure their health and safety.
Thank you so much for being a member of our community and for your support. Please consider donating to our 2024 Annual Appeal so we can continue to grow our programs and offer more services to the community. For more information please visit us at www.ywcagennesee.org
