33-year-old Tony M. Green Jr. was shot and killed by a Kingsland police officer after a pursuit on the night of June 20, 2018, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The GBI said Tony M. Green Jr. was driving with an unidentified passenger about 10:42 p.m. Wednesday when a Kingsland officer followed the vehicle. Green stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Lily and North East streets, and he and the passenger ran off, police said.
Tony was in fear for his life and he voiced his concerns 3 weeks prior to this incident with a harassment complaint on officer Z.Presley...Tony ran 2 blocks before being slaughtered in the streets by Officer Z. Presley of the Kingsland Police Department in Camden County Ga.
Our family is seeking justice for Tony, who we all knew as "Punch". His murder was heinuos, heartless, and a constant reminder to how minority lives are not valuable to some people in this country. He leaves 3 children behind, family that loves him, and hundreds of friends who will miss him.">
