Marathon with Meaning

Tax deductible
Hi! My name is Gay Bolenbaugh and I am running the Chicago Marathon 2015 to raise money for The Glaucoma Research Foundation.  10 years ago, my mother lost her sight to Glaucoma and suddenly her life was changed forever. Glaucoma is a complicated disease in which damage to the optic nerve leads to progressive and irreversible vision loss. It is the second leading cause of blindness. I've seen the impact of this disease, not only on my mother, but also the family members and friends who love her.

I love to run! I've run 11 marathons, but never to raise money for a charity. Please help me raise money to fund the scientific research to find a cure for Glaucoma and help give meaning to my next marathon!
