#BobStrong - Raising money to help Bob Holman
In late January of this year, Bob was diagnosed with an Acoustic Neuroma. (A noncancerous tumor on the main nerve leading from the inner ear to the brain). After time the neuroma becomes large enough to press against the brain and interfere with vital functions. In Bob’s case, this pressure is causing numbness in his face and mouth, a loss of hearing in his left ear as well as significant changes to his equilibrium and balance.
The only course of treatment for Bob’s diagnosis is surgery, which as of now is scheduled for April 2022. He may also have to undergo radiation post surgery to ensure that any remaining tumor cells are destroyed and there is no possibility for regrowth.
For any of you that know Bob, you know he is an amazing person that has touched the lives of so many as a friend, a father, a grandfather and a loving husband.
Our donation goal is dedicated entirely to the medical bills that will follow surgery & recovery (hospital stays, specialist, rehabilitation, post op appointments, etc). Any additional funds that are graciously donated by our community will be put towards covering living expenses for Bob and his family, so he may have a peaceful and stress free recovery and unrushed return to work.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will greatly help Bob and his Family during this challenging time. We also ask that you keep Bob in your prayers for a full recovery.
