Team Rush!!

At the young age of 13, Rush Miller was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma. It all started when Rush himself, found cyst type bumps on the side of his neck, and as conserned parents.. Brandy and Rob took him to get things checked out. After 10 days of strong antibiotics, the cysts didn't change. So, the doctors sent Rush in for a CT scan, May 4th. On May 7th, Brandy and Rob got a call from their doctor asking them to come in and discuss the results. Their world was flipped upside down on May 8th, when doctors informed them that Rush had some type of Lymphoma. On May 14th, they met with the ONLY pediatric oncologist in Wichita, confirming that Rush had Cancer. Having to scehdule Porta Cath Surgery, and starting Chemotheropy on May 18th. 
Currently Rush is at the end of his 2nd cycle of Chemo, and it is a miracle that his tumors are in fact, shrinking! His mother wanted to make sure that everyone knew that he has never doubted that he will beat this cancer. He is such a strong and full-hearted guy, who is always worrying about everyone else's feelings before his own. We all know how sick Chemo can make someone, but worried about how his mom and dad were doing, when he was getting sick, Rush was still giving his mom and dad knuckles, reassuring them that he is okay.
Rush loves to ride his bike, especially at the Derby skate park and the Wichita skate park. But more importantly, Rush loves spending time with his mom and dad, his brother and sisters, and of corse his friends and the rest of his family. Rush's dad Rob is a truck driver, who is on the road a lot and his mom is having to go to all of Rush's doctors appoitments, and  hospital visits.
