Ben's Top Surgery

Hi,

My name is Ben and I am a transman from Brighton, UK.

I recently started to transtion but due to long wait times on the NHS (I got refered in 2019 and am yet to be seen still, I got testosterone earlier this year after waiting 4+ years), I have decided that I need to go private for surgery rather than having to wait for many more years if not decades. I have most of the money for top surgery but with an oppotunity to have surgery before the end of the year, I know I won't have the full amount by that time and it is an oppotunity I can't pass on as it is such a long wait list for the next surgery date, therefore I am creating a Gofundme to try and reach my target in time.

I came out when I was 16 and given great mentors within the Trans circle in London while my homelife wasn't the best. I then continued to attend great youth services in Brighton when I moved here in 2018 which has in-fact, inspired me to change my career and to become a youth worker so that I can help the next generation of young people and to give them safe people and support, just like I recieved.
