Update: Elijah has undergone a procedure to place a wider breathing tube which was successful. Elijah is still currently relying completely on his fistula to his lungs for his airway, which is extremely unstable. The doctors are working on a plan to stabilize his fistula so they can allow him more time to come up with a long term plan. We are still taking everything day by day. Please continue praying his airway stays stable so the doctors have more time ❤️ Thank you to everyone who has donated and shared Elijah’s story! Hi, my name is Alisha Healey and I’m trying to raise medical expense funds for my brother Christoper and his wife Rachelle. Elijah was born a week ago and is fighting for his life in the NICU. He was born with a serious heart condition as well as a tracheal fistula, but is currently fighting pneumonia right now. He has many surgeries ahead to correct and address these issues, and as you might expect the bills are adding up. Rachelle and Chris have been up at the hospital with Elijah everyday and also have 4 other kids at home. We are all rallying behind them and looking to do whatever we can for them.

We are hoping to help out with the medical bills that are adding up and give them some peace in this area as everyday is changing.
