Support for Savannah

Savannah suffers from Crohn's disease and has had a significant flare up, sending her to the hospital. Because of this, her husband cannot work and must stay home to care for their children while she undergoes treatment. The financial burden and stress lays heavy upon the family during this difficult time.

Here's her story:

On Sunday, September 24th Savannah woke up in middle of the night around 3 AM with severe abdominal pain. She was rushed to the ER after passing blood, blood clots and vomiting. It took two days to get the bleeding to stop due to a very severe Crohn’s flare up. Savannah's colon has now collapsed onto her rectum and her small bowel is partially collapsing as well. She was told by the doctors there's a lot of intestinal and colon wall thickening as well as perirectal fat stranding .

Right now she's on a heavy amount of different iv steroids and medication to attempt to bring the inflammation down. If there is no success in the next few days, she may have to have colon rectal reconstructive surgery.

She's currently on 7 different medications and has recenlty been diagnosed with anemia.

If things don't improve by Monday (10/2) , she will get a repeat CT scan and colonoscopy to figure out reparative surgery.
