Support for Jamie Martinez's apartment fire

On June 18th, my apartment was in a devastating fire that changed my life forever and the way I look at it. If I would have slept 15 more minutes, the smoke would have gotten me, and I would not be here. I am lucky to be alive, but my situation keeps getting worse. I still have no access to the apartment since the city shut down the building, so I have no way to retrieve my belongings or see what is left. According to the city, we have no idea when we will get that access. I am starting a new life with a fresh perspective. A few friends have asked me to do a GoFund me to help. Even though I am more interested in helping people, I have come to the realization that, at this moment, I need help putting my life back together.
