Due to the kindness of the international community we have solidified our efforts to help other displaced famliies & have opened a mutual aid bakery called GAZA BAKERY.

Total Spent to date on Safe Passage to Egypt, basic survival needs in Gaza & Egypt from Dec’23 to present €93,000

Food aid in Gaza until all family members are evacuated: Estimated €1,200 a week
Recover & Rebuild in Egypt Costs: Estimated €65,000 for one year
Medical Expenses: Estimated €15,000
Immigration fees & legal costs: Estimated €35,000

Total estimated survival need for 12 family members, €118,000 - €220,000

Afaf (8) - GI complications from Down Syndrome, needs treatment Hanan (55) - My mother is suffering from vascular issues and cannot walk. More about the Aldaghma Family:

Hello everyone I'm Mohammed Aldaghma, and my family lived in Northern Gaza before the assault. We are a close family and had happy lives despite living under occupation, but now we are just trying to survive.

My sister Reena (20) was studying to be a pharmacist. My brothers Khader (21) and Mahmoud (23) wanted to attend college. My mother Hanan (55) is a talented pastry chef and had dreams of owning her own bakery. My four nieces and nephews just wanted to have a childhood and attend school.

Thankfully, I was in Belgium when the genocide started, so I have been able to advocate for my family here and help them escape. Before this, I studied law in Gaza and had hoped to be a humanitarian lawyer to help other Gazans, but now that dream feels so far away. The University in Gaza I attended doesn’t exist anymore after the bombs.

My family in Gaza consists of: ‏Father: Ayman 52, Mother: Hanan 55, 1st Sister: Fedaa 31. Her children: Afaf 8 years (Down Syndrome), Hassan 9 (Epilepsy), Rawan 7, Ayman 2. Her Husband: Hani 41, ‏2nd Sister: Reena 20, 1st brother: Mahmoud 23, 2nd brother: Khader 21.
