Panama Mission Trip

My wife Cynthia Fontenot & myself have been chosen by

Fellowship of the Nations and Sports for the Nations to go to the San Blas Islands of

Panama this summer. We are going to be ministering to the Kuna Indians, wonderful

people that our pastor, (Jonny Brady) has been working with for the past 37 years. They live in grass huts, bathe

from rain buckets and have no electricity or running water. They travel from island to

island in canoes and love to play basketball. We will be part of a ministry team that

will help preach the gospel to these people, help facilitate children’s ministry for the

hundreds of Kuna children on the islands and help to build new church buildings.

The cost of the trip is $2500 a person, and any donation you can make toward this trip is

tax deductible. The deadline to donate is June 14th. The most important

thing you can do for us and our team is to pray for us as we plan and go to minister on

June 23 thru July 1. The conditions are extremely hot, but the Kunas are always so

hospitable to our team. We will be playing basketball with their island teams as we use

sports to share the Good News! We will be staying on the San Blas Islands.
