Get Michael Home

During a family vacation in Puerto Vallarta Mexico our brother, son and uncle Michael suffered a stroke in his cerebellum. He underwent a craniotomy and is currently stable in the ICU with constant monitoring. We are visiting when allowed and can update when able. Needless to say it was unexpected and very challenging to navigate an international healthcare system and language barrier. We have involved numerous US and Mexican resources but our biggest barrier we are facing is getting him medically evacuated once he is stable. Within the system they require a family member to be present 24 hours a day to provide resources since they’re so limited. Since American insurance is not accepted everything has been out of pocket with the hope of later reimbursement. We ask if you can donate but if you can’t, please spread the word.
