Michelle Strong

Michelle Dougherty got some bad news in early October.  She held on to that news for over 2 weeks in order to not have her current circumstance get in the way of the kids she was coaching to a State Tournament Final.  That is Michelle.  The most unselfish and giving person I know.  Michelle is like my sister so I am asking for your help.

Michelle was diagnosed with breast cancer in October of 2018.  She now faces a battle that will require much prayer, help and support. So whatever you can and are willing to do, please do that now. 

Pray, for peace, understanding and perseverance.  Pray for the doctors and nurses, for Michelle's family, and pray for Michelle to beat this awful invader. 

Give.  Michelle is going through 6 rounds of Chemo right now.  She is half way through.  After Chemo will be radiation.  Then in late 2019 or early 2020 she will require surgery.  She has good insurance, but her out of packet for WHAT SHE KNOWS RIGHT NOW is $4200 per year.   If you know some one who has gone through this then you know cancer treatments rarely go according to plan.  So we are trying to build a small cushion for what Michelle might not know right now.  IF, through prayer, great doctors and great medical care, all goes as planned and she does not need a portion of what is raised, Michelle will gift it forward to another person battling a similar fight and in need of assistance.  Anything you can give will help.
