Casey's Sky Dive

On the 9th of October, a few days after I turn 16, I will be doing a skydive and jumping from 15,000ft to raise funds for my team, Bristol City Cerebral Palsy FC. I would also like to promote awareness of Cerebral Palsy as World CP day is on October 6.

I was inspired to skydive by my Grandad, who was in the RAF and completed more than 40 jumps during his service worldwide. Now I am finally old enough; I can emulate what he did and experience how he felt.

The money raised will go directly to my club as we have been invited to a CP festival in Copenhagen in August 2023. I am hoping to raise enough money so all the children can attend.

The Cerebral Palsy team joined the WE ARE CITY project in November 2020. The sessions offer young people with cerebral palsy the chance to play football and have fun. Giving young people the opportunity to develop their football skills and be part of a team. The club also offers opportunities for the players to build coaching skills and further their education.
