Fighting Brain Cancer

My name is Stephanie Davis. A few years after working at Nesco I started having health problems, hospital stays every few months. Doctor’s could not figure out what was wrong. I ended up losing my position at Nesco because of these reasons. On February 3rd 2015 I had a seizure and was rushed to the hospital. Two days later on my 33rd birthday, they told me I had a cancerous brain tumor called a Glimoa.

The tumor takes up the entire frontal lobe of left brain, the size a little smaller than a baseball. Doctors got right to work, starting with brain biopsy and scheduled me for radiation. I started radiation, lost my hair, and the fatigue that came with it was terrible. Having an 11 and 2 year old son’s at home it was almost impossible for me to take care of them. My mother, an RN, quit her job after 25 years to stay home to take care of me and the boys. Now, the only income we have to support a family of 5 is my husband’s income working customer service in Trumbull.

Unable to work, I am trying to bring in some more money for medical bills. Next month I start chemo and insurance does not cover it. Please help because we will be drowning in medical bills. God bless you all.
