Emergency Surgery

Hello all,

This is Lucy; she was severely injured while trying to save her from a cat attacking her. She was stepped on, which snapped her legbone completely in half. She had to have emergency surgery to pin the leg together and will be assessed at 8weeks to determine if the pins need to be removed. She's a very small dog, 5 lbs. She is currently going to see the vet weekly for bandage changes, and more than likely, the pins will need to be removed due to her size. I've been in the process of selling our household item to pay her first bills; so far, $777.16 and $4,946.01.
