Please help Xena

Anyone who knows me knows that I would never ask for financial help unless absolutely out of necessity. Xena was bitten by a dog today and has a major tongue injury that has to be treated immediately anything and everything will be greatly appreciated. Please help Xena she’s such a great dog.

*update- got her tongue stitched back together. Now is a long recovery for her. She can’t physically eat or drink and will have to get an IV tomorrow to keep her hydrated. She’ll be on a soft food diet for a month as well. I can’t express enough how eternally grateful I am for everyone who has shared donated. The surgery was $980 and that with the follow ups needed and me having to miss work to stay home and watch her stitches for the next few days there is absolutely no way I could of afforded her surgery without the love and support of everyone. Thank you

2nd update- Xena is doing surprisingly well given that she has to completely relearn to eat and drink. However the front stitches have ripped out and her tongue is starting to split again. The animal hospital will require another $600 to even see her and told me it would probably cost the exact same total as last time to stitch her back even though it in less stitches being put in than last time. That with the fact that we haven’t even gotten into the cost of having to go to the vet to get her more antibiotics and a checkup is the only reason I am raising the goal and still appreciate each and everyone of you so much.
