Addison Wynes and Family

I'm a friend of Addi and Shy's and I'm creating this fundraiser because as some of you may already know they have been hit with a heavy blow recently. I'm hoping through this we can lift some of the weight off Addi's shoulders. Addi had been battling excruciating pain for some time. If you've been tattooed by him or tried reaching him and been missed or felt things were off in the last year or a little more, things were off. Addi was pushing through and turning out killer work, but he was battling through excruciating pain because it's what he loves and it is how he supports his family. After many attempts to get to the bottom of the pain, feeling like no one was hearing him, and ER visits, finally a visit to a different ER who actually did a CT scan he was able to start getting answers. The CT Scan showed a large tumor. Knowing this and with the pain being excruciating Shy took Addi to the ER in KC on the 6th where they are getting clearer answers, but also seeing they have a very uncertain future ahead of them. Addi has a tumor that has grown through the stomach, is attached to the liver and is blocking his pancreas ducts causing pancreatitis. He is in terrible pain that they haven't got under control yet, has had 2 biopsies, and had a chemo port put in today. They have said it is lymphoma, but they are waiting on further test results to determine what kind and confirm a plan. As of now they will be starting chemo while he is still in the hospital and will continue that for at least 6 months and then possibly radiation. Obviously, this means Addi will be out of work for an indefinite amount of time. You may know him for his art or the because he's also a gifted musician, but Addi is also the main provider for his family. He's amazing at all he does and enjoys from tattooing, playing music, hunting, and all the in between. He's a loyal friend, one of the best you could ever hope to have, a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin... But more than any of those things he's a husband and a father. If you know him as a husband and father you know his devotion, love, and loyalty to Shy and the kids is unmatched. Not being able to work and provide for them as he always has is a huge weight. To add to that weight their family is needing to relocate to their hometown where they have support from family and friends with the kids and maintaining a home ect.. this is expensive especially in these times. Shy is also currently traveling back and forth from KC daily to be able to be emotional and physical support dividing her time between Addi and the kids. Travel is costly and they are currently also having to borrow a vehicle to make that trip as Shy's has some issues that need fixed.

If you know Addi you love him, no doubt, let's lift our brother up and take some of this weight off his shoulders so he can fight this beast in.
