The Liam O’Connor Memorial Rugby Game

On December 22nd Heaton Moor and St. Ambrose will be playing a memorial rugby game in honour of Liam O’Connor. Liam was a talented rugby player who embodied what the sport was about: sportsmanship, teamwork, comradery and leadership. Many of us were fortunate to play alongside Liam at Heaton Moor and St Ambrose, and a few of us were lucky enough to share the pitch with him for both club and school. We hope this match can do his memory justice and give everyone an opportunity to celebrate Liam.

We will be raising money for the charity Brake, which helps families that have lost loved ones in automotive accidents. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, and we hope to see you at Heywood Road for the 2pm kick off!
