Umusa health care trust is a non -profit grassroots organisation operating out of Bulawayo that aims to provide primary health care to isolated and underserved communities in Matebeleland South, Zimbabwe. We have previously donated to Tshelanyemba hospital in Matobo District, and would like to continue assisting other hospitals within the district.
In light of the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic, our health facilities need our help to be able to be effectively prepared for the outbreak. Local hospitals are often the first point of contact for most patients. Our health facilities do not have enough equipment to protect both patients and health care workers from the spread of the coronavirus. Our health care workers are IMPORTANT. It is our mandate to protect them at any cost.
The trust would like to use the funds raised to buy non- contact thermometers, masks, gloves, sanitizer and disinfectant to slow the spread of the virus in our health care centers.
We appeal to you our friends to save a life. No donation is ever too small.
