Help Rebuild Lives After Devastating Fire

Hello everyone!

This is Lindsay Ciesla – I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my sister, Danielle Castaneda and her son, Aiden.

On July 17th we watched the Chicagoland news coverage, it showed footage of a devastating and debilitating fire as it ravaged its way through a track of homes in a quiet peaceful neighborhood.

We watched as helicopters flew over the blaze and emergency crews fought selflessly to stem the tide of disaster as they worked to combat fire and smoke. Their heroic bravery made all the difference. The fire was quenched, and our family was safely separated from the blaze.

To this my family and I thank you as well the kind community of neighbors who have stepped in to communicate prayers and kind thoughts. We know that our words of gratitude could never be enough to repay the gift you secured for us. Our loved ones survived, and they were kept safe.

However, the same cannot be said for the house, the cars, the necessary items to get through the day, the family photos, and the rest of their treasured belongings. This page is to ask anyone who is able to give monetarily to please do so.

We ask because there is a fundamental need. We ask because they are more than worth investing in. We ask because their loss was personal and of a great magnitude. We ask because we love them and our hearts demand nothing less than to try.
