The Greenville Tar Heel Little League All Star teams have won both the 11-12 and 10-11 District 4 tournaments and will be traveling to state tournaments in the coming weeks. The 10-11 team is heading to Charlotte, while the 11-12 year old team will be going to Brevard out in Western North Carolina as their first stop on the way to Williamsport, PA for the Little League World Series.
The boys are asking for your help in getting them there. The expenses for these trips (all star fees, equipment, hotel, gas, etc) are starting to add up, and they could really use your help in providing a once in a lifetime experience for these boys who have worked so hard to get to where they are. Any donation will help!
The 10-11 All Stars will begin playing this weekend (the 18th) in hopes of making it back to beautiful Elm Street Park to participate in the Tournament of State Champions. The 11-12 year old team is hoping to win the State Championship beginning Friday, July 24th in Brevard, then move on to the Southeast Regional in Warner Robbins, GA, and arrive at the final destination of Williamsport, PA and the Little League World Series!
