Please help!

*Help 12-year-old Emmett battle cancer *

The Wales/Whiteman family is facing yet another set-back with the heartbreaking news that twelve-year-old Emmett’s cancer has returned. Last week cancer was discovered in Emmett’s lungs, and he faces a long and challenging fight once again. This devastating news has shaken the family deeply with his mum, Julie, struggling to keep the family afloat, care for her other three children and be the pillar of strength that Emmett so desperately needs.

 

Emmett’s relapse comes after he was diagnosed and overcame osteosarcoma in his femur in 2023, when he was eleven years old. He endured many surgeries, fighting multiple infections and having his leg amputated to prevent the spread of osteosarcoma beyond his femur. Emmett was declared in remission in 2024 and proudly rang the bell at the Children’s Hospital. To now be facing this battle all over again is heartbreaking.

 

This family needs our support as they navigate this difficult time again. Julie is working tirelessly to care for Emmett and support her other children, but the financial burden is immense.
