Austin Community Advancement Brigade provides and directs mutual aid for the communities of greater East Austin. We aim to elevate people by meeting their basic needs, and are committed to providing the highest quality of care we can achieve.
This fund is intended to assist us in meeting the needs of our unhoused neighbors. Currently, we distribute nearly 200 meals and hygiene kits among 3-4 camps every Saturday- as well as responding to supply requests and providing medical support as needed.

UPDATE 2/19/21:
Thank you for all of your contributions!
With this fund we are now able to move forward into assisting individuals beyond our regular food program, and we've raised our goal to reflect this.
Through the freeze we've been able to provide hotel rooms for many houseless neighbors, as well as materially supporting them through their stay(food, hygiene items, clothes, etc). We're seeking to raise an additional $5000 to cover hotel room extensions through this weekend, while the freeze continues. This week we have been able to help with multiple phone bills, as well as car and insurance payments- in the long term, we hope to be able to provide ongoing financial assistance to further uplift our neighbors in need.
