Rallying for Rob
Donation protected
On the night of May 3, 2020, Rob Beattie (43), husband and father of three was taken to the hospital. He was complaining of stomach pains and fever. This was also the night of his youngest daughter's 10th birthday. The news came back and it's not good. He has extremely aggressive colon cancer and it has started to spread.
During this difficult time, Rob is not working and has minimal benefits. And Renee is barely working part time, all while taking care of the kids, the house, and Rob.
Both Rob and Renee are very strong, very proud people. Too proud to ask for help, even though I know they need it. But I am not. So I'm here, asking, and begging for your help. Asking for help as we feel helpless. This cancer has not only taken an emotional and physical toll on the family, but also a financial one!
Those that know and love Rob, know that he would do anything for the people he loves. I have, and I'm sure many others, have come to Rob for help when they were down, or needed a shoulder to cry on. Now it's our time to let him lean us. He said to me "I don't cry for me. I cry for them. I cry for Renee, and my kids". He has also started a blog about his journey and fight with cancer that you can follow, https://www.robbeattie.ca/
I know it's hard during this pandemic, but if you could find it in your heart to donate, it would be so appreciated. Any amount helps.
Thank you so much
